J.B. Smith joined HAI Group in 2015 as a Senior Risk Control Consultant. J.B. currently provides risk control consulting services to the membership located in the Mid-Atlantic region and parts of the Midwest. J.B. brings unique experiences and perspectives to the HAI Group Risk Control team. He has 20+ years of law enforcement and security0related experiences. His career experiences have provided an extensive background in the training of other professionals in safety, security, and insurance risk control. He is an OSHA-authorized trainer for the general and construction industries and an HCV housing quality standards specialist. Additionally, he is a certified first-aid/CPR Instructor. J.B.’s most recent risk control experiences come from his work with a recognized public housing authority and as an independent loss control consultant.
